About our host, Nurhan Gecgil, PhD
Nurhan Gecgil heads EquityEdge Studio’s AI prompting & content training course, and works with us as an investment writer. Nurhan brings extensive experience in investment management, having worked at leading firms in New York, Princeton, Greenwich, London and Edinburgh. Her expertise spans investment research, trading, investment writing and harnessing GenAI tools and AI agents to enhance decision-making and communication, particularly in capital markets and investment management. Currently, Nurhan is training AI models and authoring a book on AI prompting in investment management and finance.
Nurhan has taught numerous business and investment management courses at universities across the US and UK. Her academic credentials include a PhD in Business Studies, an MSc in Investment Banking & Trading, and an MBA and a BA in Economics. She has also completed all three levels of the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) certification and holds a UK postgraduate degree in Higher Education.
